How to get to Camp Swatara

From Lancaster and south: Route 501 north to Myerstown. About 1/10 mile past the light at Route 422, bear let onto Hilltop Road. In about three miles, this road become Camp Swatara Road, Route 645. About six more miles to the camp. NOTE: after crossing I-78, it will be 2-3 miles on the right.

From Reading and east: Route 422 to Route 501 in Myerstown. Turn right. Follow above instructions from Lancaster and south.

From Harrisburg and west: Route I-83 to I-78 (toward Allentown). Exit 10 off I-78. Route 645 north about 2-3 miles to Camp

Swatara.

From points north, such as Bloomsburg: get to I-81 and go south. Get off at the Pine Grove exit and turn left on Route 443 toward

Pine Grove. Right on Route 645. Over the mountain to the camp. NOTE: Route 645 turns sharply left 1/2 the way down the mountain.
